School Council

Congratulations to all the children who were elected by their peers onto our new School Council. Our first meeting was held on Wednesday 25th October 2023.

Year 1 – Alex and Clara

Year 4 – Joseph and Wren

Year 5 – Bailey

Bea Year 6 – Esmay and Luke

 

Congratulations to the class finalists on their Lambanana (Springie) designs. Congratulations to Wren from Year 2. Her design was the overall winner.

Springie will be revamped in the New Year. Thank you to the PTA for providing the paint and a big thanks to the parents who are going to paint Springie for us in the winning design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

School Council
On 24 th November 2023 the School Councillors had their hustings to vote and elect the post holders – Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer.
Congratulations to all the children who put themselves forward for the different posts. Special congratulations to Bailey who was elected Chairperson, Bea elected as Secretary and Esmay as Treasurer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Wednesday 13th December we had our School Council meeting. Bailey as our Chairperson chaired the meeting and Bea, our Secretary, took the minutes. The School Council wrote a mission statement for our School Council. Our School Council will be a voice for every single pupil at Springwood Heath Primary School and contribute towards the continuous improvement of our school community.
